What is the difference between verification and carbon inventory?
Carbon inventory is the calculation of emissions by the enterprise itself (or by a commissioned party); verification is the review of inventory results by an independent third-party body. Emission data used for external statements generally requires verification.
How long does the report take?
Depending on organizational size and data foundation, the verification process (including on-site visits) typically takes 2-6 weeks; carbon emission data for the calendar year must be prepared in advance.
