What is the relationship between ISO 45001 and the previous OHSAS 18001?
ISO 45001 is the current standard published by the International Organization for Standardization and has fully replaced OHSAS 18001. New applicants are advised to implement ISO 45001 (GB/T 45001-2020) directly; organizations holding previous version certificates need to complete the transition.
Can certification replace the work safety license?
No. System certification and administrative licensing are complementary: the work safety license is a statutory market entry requirement, while ISO 45001 is third-party assurance of the safety management system. The two coexist without conflict.
