What is the difference between assurance and certification?

Certification targets management systems (such as ISO 9001), while assurance/verification targets reports and data (such as ESG reports, carbon emission data, product carbon footprints). Verification conclusions are presented in the form of statements/reports and also carry third-party credibility.

Can an assurance body also provide consulting?

To ensure independence, assurance and consulting must be undertaken by different bodies. Our company only assumes the assurance role and does not provide related consulting that would affect independence.

What are the uses of assurance results?

They are used in report disclosure, capital market communication, customer compliance requirements (such as CBAM), green finance, brand building and other scenarios to enhance the credibility of data and claims.
