Commitments & Statements

Our public commitments on impartiality, confidentiality and complaint handling

Impartiality

WEZO UNION does not provide consultancy or design services for the management systems it certifies, and does not certify any organisation in which it has a commercial interest that would compromise objectivity. All personnel are required to declare conflicts of interest; certification decisions are made by personnel not involved in the audit.

Confidentiality

All client information obtained during audits, inspections and verification is treated as confidential. Information is disclosed only with client consent, or where required by law, regulation or accreditation requirements.

Complaints & Appeals

Complaints about our services and appeals against certification decisions may be submitted through the Complaints & Appeals page, by phone or by email. Every case is registered, investigated by personnel independent of the original activity, and answered in writing within a defined time limit.

Fee and Responsibility

Fees are quoted according to the scope, scale and complexity of the certification activity and communicated before the contract is signed. WEZO UNION maintains professional liability insurance and takes responsibility for the certification activities it performs.

Certificate Use

Certified organisations may use the certificate and mark only within the approved scope and validity period. Certificates may be suspended, withdrawn or cancelled when requirements are not maintained; the current status is published through our certificate query.
